AYER KEROH: Barisan Nasional and Pas will share the same stage to announce their respective candidates for the Melaka election on Saturday.
BN chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said BN would announce 21 candidates, while Pas would name seven.
"We will announce 21 candidates and they will announce seven on the same stage and at the same hall on Saturday," he said after chairing the BN Main Committee meeting for the 16th Melaka election at the Melaka International Trade Centre.
Also present were BN deputy chairman Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, caretaker Melaka Chief Minister and state BN chairman Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh, and BN secretary-general Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir.
