Liverpool forward Rio Ngumoha became the third-youngest player to register two assists in a Champions League match during the Reds' 4-3 win over Villarreal.
The 18-year-old provided both assists to move ahead of former Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli, who was 18 years and two months old when he achieved the feat for Inter against Anorthosis in 2008.
Only Warren Zaïre-Emery and Theo Walcott were younger when they registered two assists in a Champions League match.
Zaïre-Emery was 17 years, seven months and 18 days old when he set up two goals for Paris St-Germain against AC Milan in 2023, while Walcott was 17 years and eight months old when he did so for Arsenal against Hamburg in 2006.
Ngumoha had already made history in August 2025, becoming Liverpool's youngest goalscorer at the age of 17 years and one month.
If he scores in this season's Champions League, he will also become the club's youngest goalscorer in the competition. That record belongs to Trent Alexander-Arnold, who was 19 years and 11 days old when he scored.
Ngumoha has made nine appearances this season and recently made his senior England debut.
