Claudia and her group of celebrity traitors and faithfuls are back on our screens tonight, and with that comes a new episode of twists and turns. Although I'm addicted to watching the drama unfold, I also tune in to spot Claudia's effortless beauty and standout look. Typically Claudia wears a beauty uniform that includes a vampy, smokey eye paired with a pale nude lip, but on episode three, she decided to mix it up. Instead of reaching for her usual MAC Fleshpot, Claudia wore a deeper fig lip shade, and it suited her perfectly as she graced that iconic castle.
Spotting Claudia in a lip shade that's different from her usual look is nothing short of exciting, so I rushed to investigate what shade it could be – all in the name of beauty journalism.
Luckily for me, Claudia's right-hand woman MUA Lucy Gibson regularly shares with her Instagram followers the exact products and shades she used on Claudia throughout filming. Along with Claudia's staple black eyeshadow and go-to foundation, Gibson revealed she wore Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturising Lip Balm, £25, in the shade Fuller Fig, and it looked utterly flawless.
Still channelling her classic nude-lip look but with a twist, this shade is a deeper nude tone with warm, red undertones - the perfect autumnal shade. The gentle flush of natural colour looked super flattering on Claudia as she greeted the faithfuls and hidden traitors at the breakfast table. Gibson paired this fig-coloured balm with peachy, glowing cheeks and her classic black smokey eye, and I loved seeing Claudia in this colour palette.
The Clinique Chubby Stick, known as an icon in the beauty world, is just as good today as it was when first launched. The moisturising formula doesn't compromise on pigment and has since expanded to a franchise of blush, bronzer, and highlighters. Perfect for everyday wear, this two-in-one lip balm and liner is all you need to look glowing and fresh as we enter into the colder months.
