Santos forward, Neymar has hailed Barcelona winger, Lamine Yamal as the “best in the world” just less than 10 days before the 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony.
Yamal is one of the leading contenders for the 2026 Ballon d’Or award, after a brilliant campaign with club and country.
The 19-year-old won the LaLiga title with Barcelona and the 2026 FIFA World Cup with Spain.
However, Neymar made his point on Friday by posting a statistical comparison between his goal contributions for Paris Saint-Germain after 27 matches in the 2017/18 campaign and Lamine Yamal’s after his first 10 appearances for Barcelona this season.
Tagging the Spain international in the post, Neymar wrote: “Best in the world.”
Yamal has scored eight goals and provided nine assists in 10 appearances across all competitions for Barcelona this term.
