Demonstrated in Texas, the vehicle reportedly accelerates from 0 to 60mph in 0.81 seconds and reaches speeds exceeding 230mph. Production is scheduled to begin in 2028, according to Elon Musk, following the vehicle’s latest public demonstration.

Tesla’s new Roadster will be available in several configurations, including a performance model requiring a $50,000 deposit and a thrust version requiring $250,000.
An invitation-only rocket variant features a single seat and a full flight system. The vehicle uses thrusters for aerial manoeuvres, although the legality of these capabilities on public roads remains unclear. Pricing has not been confirmed.
