Karangu took to his Facebook page to share a proud moment with his nephew Asaph Kagema. The two posed inside Karangu's black Land Cruiser Prado, with Asaph dressed in full graduation regalia, including a white shirt, red bow tie and golden garlands, surrounded by gift hampers.
"Congratulations my son Asaph kagema, whenever I see you, I remember my late brother Joshua.... As I promised him and your mum, I will always be there for you.... Am grateful to attend your graduation and am looking forward to attend more....love you son ❤️," Karangu wrote.

Asaph is the son of Karangu's late brother Joshua Kagema, who died after battling TB meningitis and extrapulmonary TB in August. Karangu has spoken publicly about the promise he made to care for Joshua's children, and fans praised him warmly for honouring it.
Triza attends Esther's graduation alone
The conversation shifted, however, when Karangu's estranged first wife Triza Njeri shared photos on Monday, 19 October, of their daughter Esther graduating. Triza, who affectionately refers to Esther as "Essy," posted images of the young woman in a black graduation cap and gown, clutching flowers and her certificate.
"Corona Babies Ndio Hawa....Congratulations My Ka Essy ❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰😍 Mum Anakupenda Sana 😍," Triza captioned the post.
No photographs of Karangu appeared at the event, and the comments section under Triza's post quickly filled with observations from followers who noticed his absence.
The timing added fuel to the conversation. Just three days earlier, on Friday, 16 October, Karangu had been present at the PP2 graduation of Arianna, the daughter of his second wife Carol Kim, where Arianna was also awarded Most Compassionate Girl.
"Am super proud of my Arianna... Thank you my Carol for being a good mum," he posted.
Kenyans react to the timeline
The sequence of events, with Karangu attending Arianna's ceremony on 16 October, then Asaph's graduation on 19 October, while Esther's celebration on the same day went without him, left many followers asking difficult questions.
Some argued that Karangu and Triza's co-parenting arrangement, following their very public separation in early 2025 when he married Carol Kim as a second wife, did not require every milestone to be a joint appearance.
Others were less forgiving. As one fan commented under Triza's post:
"Congrats to Essy, but Karangu should have been there too."
Karangu is known for embracing Arianna as his own, even introducing her by the name Arianna Karangu at his late brother Paul Karangu's burial in Murang'a in April 2026. He has not publicly addressed the claims that he skipped Esther's graduation.
How did Karangu celebrate his elder daughter's birthday?
TUKO.co.ke also highlighted facts about Karangu's birthday tribute to his daughter Tatiana, who turned 17 on October 16.
The content creator shared photos and a message praising her as one of his greatest sources of pride.
The birthday post drew warm wishes from fans, while some commenters raised questions about Karangu’s family life.
