PM Modi, Vijay’s Viral Metro Ride: A New Political Equation In Tamil Nadu?

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay’s metro ride with Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sparked conversations about a possible shift in the state’s political equations. The meeting came barely a day after Vijay’s lunch meeting with Rahul Gandhi. From Modi holding Vijay’s hand on stage to the two travelling together and inaugurating key projects, the visuals drew widespread attention. But beyond the optics, Vijay also presented the Centre with a list of demands for Tamil Nadu, including requests related to metro connectivity and river projects. As he navigates ties with the Centre and opposition leaders, the focus now turns to development and delivery.
