Expectations for the Miami Dolphins were tempered this season after a major roster overhaul, yet many fans saw the transition to quarterback Malik Willis as a potential upgrade. Five games into his tenure, however, the optimism is fading. While some defenders argue Willis needs more time to settle in, the statistics are concerning: he averages just 169.8 passing yards per game, hasn’t used his mobility as expected, and holds a career-low 56.2% completion rate. With only two touchdowns against four interceptions and a dismal 68.4 passer rating, the similarities to the team’s previous quarterback struggles are becoming impossible for fans to ignore.
So this evening’s Phinsider Question Of The Day is:
What are your thoughts on Malik Willis’s performance so far, and how should the team handle his future? Do you believe he still has the potential to develop into a long-term starter, or has the experiment run its course, signaling that the team must prioritize finding a new quarterback next season?
