From Lauren Sánchez to Susan Dell: The dramatic transformations of Mar-a-Lago's inner circle

Before becoming one of the most photographed women in the billionaire social scene, Lauren Sánchez Bezos was a television journalist with a very different signature look.

During her early broadcasting career, the former entertainment reporter favoured dark, flowing hair, softly defined eyebrows and relatively understated makeup.

Fast-forward to today and the wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has embraced full Hollywood glamour.

Her brunette locks are styled in glossy waves, while her red-carpet appearances frequently feature dramatic eye makeup, nude lips and figure-hugging designer gowns.

Lauren, who married Jeff in a lavish Venice wedding in June 2025, has become a fixture at high-profile fashion events and celebrity celebrations.

The couple were also among the famous faces who attended Donald Trump's second presidential inauguration in January 2025.

Philanthropist Susan Dell has recently found herself at the centre of the "Mar-a-Lago face" conversation after appearing alongside her billionaire husband, Michael Dell, at the White House.

The couple, who established the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation in 1999, attended an event with President Trump on October 7.

However, it was Susan's appearance that generated unexpected attention online. Earlier photographs show the philanthropist with a feathered, honey-blonde hairstyle, a soft fringe and a relatively natural makeup look.

In more recent images, Susan wears her blonde hair in longer, layered waves, with stronger eye definition and a more polished finish.

Susan, who previously launched the luxury fashion label Phi, has long had an interest in fashion and design.

Kimberly Guilfoyle's transformation is among the most striking in the collection.

Long before becoming a prominent figure in Trump's political circle, the former prosecutor and television personality was married to California politician Gavin Newsom.

Early photographs from her modelling and legal career show Kimberly with thick, dark hair, softly defined features and understated makeup.

Over the years, her look has become considerably more dramatic. Today, the former Fox News host is known for voluminous brunette waves, heavily defined eyes, long lashes and glossy pink lips.

Kimberly, who was previously engaged to Donald Trump Jr., has also developed a penchant for glamorous gowns and statement jewellery.

Her evolving appearance has attracted considerable public speculation about cosmetic enhancements, although she has not confirmed the procedures suggested by commentators.

Following the end of her relationship with Donald Jr., Kimberly maintained her ties to the Trump administration and became the US ambassador to Greece.

Kristi Noem's appearance has evolved considerably since she first entered politics. Early photographs of the former South Dakota governor show her sporting a shorter brunette hairstyle, side-swept layers and relatively understated makeup.

As her political career progressed, Kristi embraced a more glamorous aesthetic, with longer hair, voluminous waves and dramatic eye makeup.

Her eyebrows have also become more sharply defined, while her public appearances frequently feature statement lashes and glossy lips.

The contrast between her early congressional portraits and more recent photographs has made Kristi a frequent subject of online discussion about the so-called Mar-a-Lago look.

Her changing style also reflects more than a decade in the national spotlight, where political figures face increasing scrutiny over their appearance.

Political activist Laura Loomer has also undergone a noticeable style transformation since her early appearances in the public eye.

Older photographs show Laura with blonde hair, relatively minimal eye makeup and a more casual approach to fashion.

In recent years, she has swapped her lighter locks for dark brunette hair, frequently worn swept back or styled in polished waves.

Her makeup has become more defined, with arched brows, smoky eyes and nude-pink lipstick forming part of her signature look.

A vocal supporter of Donald Trump, she has become an increasingly recognisable figure in conservative political circles.

Erika Kirk has embraced a noticeably different look since her early years as a beauty pageant contestant.

The former Miss Arizona USA, who won the title in 2012, was photographed in her younger years with long blonde hair, softly defined eyes and the classic polished makeup associated with pageant competitions.

Today, Erika often wears her platinum-blonde hair in sleek styles or softly brushed-back waves, complemented by dramatic eye makeup and neutral lipstick.

Perhaps one of the most recognisable transformations belongs to Ivanka Trump. The president's eldest daughter first entered the public eye as a young model, frequently appearing at fashion events with a sleek blonde bob, soft pink lipstick and relatively understated eye makeup.

Over the years, the former White House adviser has developed a more sophisticated signature style.

Her blonde hair is now typically worn long and straight or styled in loose waves, while her makeup often features defined brows, smoky eyes and neutral lips.

Ivanka has also moved away from the youthful party dresses of her early modelling days in favour of tailored designer outfits, elegant evening gowns and statement jewellery.

Since stepping away from frontline politics, the mother of three has embraced a more relaxed lifestyle in Florida with husband Jared Kushner and their children.

Her transformation reflects more than two decades in the public eye, from teenage model and businesswoman to presidential daughter and mother.
