A new father in Zimbabwe turned the moment his wife left the maternity ward into something she will never forget, greeting her with a live saxophone performance, a towering money bouquet and an armful of gifts for their newborn baby boy.

The man arranged for a musician to play a romantic melody outside the hospital as he stood waiting, bouquet in hand, alongside balloons in blue and purple that had been used to decorate the trolley carrying the baby.
A nurse wheeled the newborn out first, with the baby's grandmother following in a wheelchair, unsure of what was unfolding around her.
Wife Breaks Down in Tears of Joy
When the mother finally emerged, still dressed in her pyjamas and a bonnet as a nurse wheeled her through the doors, the sight of her husband standing there patiently stopped her in her tracks.

She immediately covered her face and began crying, overwhelmed by what he had put together for her. Beyond the money bouquet, he had brought a full package of baby clothing, shoes and gifts to mark the occasion.
After giving her a moment to take it all in, the husband walked over, helped her to her feet and wrapped her in a long embrace.
The saxophonist who performed at the surprise later described the moment online.
"Baby Welcome Surprise. Baby Boy was welcomed into the world in the most beautiful way. She couldn't hold back her tears of joy. You could feel how much this moment meant to her husband too," he wrote.
