KATHMANDU, Oct 16: The Software Development and Operations Centre under the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has invited applications for 15 information technology positions, offering monthly salaries of up to Rs 250,000.
The centre is recruiting for positions including chief technology expert, project manager, system analyst, developer, cybersecurity expert and technical support staff. Monthly remuneration ranges from Rs 40,000 to Rs 250,000, depending on the position.

Applicants for chief technology expert and project manager positions must hold a master’s degree in an IT-related field, while candidates for other positions must have at least a bachelor’s degree. Relevant work experience and technical skills are also required, depending on the position.
Interested Nepali citizens can apply online through the centre’s website by November 4 (Kartik 18). The centre will select candidates based on their academic qualifications, experience, presentations, practical examinations and interviews, depending on the position.
