Well, that one was a little closer than we would have liked, but the Buffalo Bills get to head into the bye with a win. That’s definitely going to make the next two weeks a little more enjoyable while we wait to see them back on the field.
There’s been plenty of criticism of the Bills’ play — and rightfully so — but not everything has been a cause for concern. So, let’s take a look at a few Shout!outs for the things that went right this week.

Josh Allen just passed Russell Wilson.
Allen’s 9-yard touchdown pass to Khalil Shakir was the 317th total touchdown of his career, moving him past Russell Wilson for the second-most touchdowns by a player in his first 10 NFL seasons. Allen, of course, is only six games into season No. 9.

Of course, we know that in the third quarter of the game, Allen tied Hall of Famer Jim Kelly atop the Bills’ franchise record as well. You can read about that here.
With that 12-yard TD pass to Keon Coleman, Josh Allen now has 258 passing TDs (including playoffs).

Joe Brady is in some pretty good company.
Through his first six games as a head coach, Brady’s Bills are averaging 32.8 points per game. That’s the second-highest average in the Super Bowl era for a coach’s first six career games. The only man ahead of him? Mike Martz, whose 2000 Rams averaged an absurd 43.7 points.

Tyler Bass has found his groove.
Remember when every field goal attempt felt like an adventure? Bass has now made 18 straight dating back to 2024, tying Rian Lindell for the longest streak by a Bills kicker since Lindell put together 18 consecutive makes in 2007.

Keon Coleman is making a habit of finding the end zone.
Coleman has caught a touchdown pass in three straight games, becoming the first Bills wide receiver to do that since Gabe Davis scored in four consecutive games back in 2023.
All four of Keon Coleman's catches today have been for first downs (including TDs). 15 of his 19 catches this year have gone for first downs. https://t.co/P38jXFxxqH

And one more for the defense.
Dorian Williams picked off Kirk Cousins for the first interception of his NFL career. It might not be history-making, but your first career interception deserves a Shout!
James Cook is up to 627 rushing yards this season. Only O.J. Simpson has had more in their first 6 games of a season in Bills history (868 yds in 1973 and 911 yds in 1975). pic.twitter.com/jPzKUo0KeL

The Bills have plenty to work on, but there are some pretty good things happening in between the things that make us yell at our televisions. And with Allen rewriting record books, Brady collecting wins (whether they’re pretty or not is not for us to judge here), and Bass doing his job without giving us a collective heart attack, we’ve got plenty of reasons to keep Shout!ing.
