Yes, it helps that the Chicago Bearsnow have a special quarterback like Caleb Williams, but on a historical basis, no matter how good or bad the team is in a given season, Bears fans have usually traveled very well.
Sunday's 31-23 road win over the Atlanta Falcons was no different. CHGO Bears beat reporter Adam Jahns, who attended the game in Atlanta, said the stadium felt like the attendance ratio was 65-35 in favor of Bears fans. That's not necessarily all that surprising for a team with a national fanbase. What might read as a shock to some is what the visiting Bears fans forced the Falcons to adjust with their offensive game plan.
In his postgame press conference, Falcons head coach Kevin Stefanski revealed that his team was forced to use a silent count in its own home stadium. I'm sorry, WHAT? I know the Bears are a popular team, but it's wild that visiting fans could alter the play and strategy of the home team by that much.
No wonder the Atlanta offense seemed so rudderless for most of the afternoon:

Bears fans who attended this game should be proud of themselves for this sentiment. That is essentially the head coach of a team confirming that noise from opposing fans made it harder for his team. It's not often you see "road-field advantage," but it's clear that Bears supporters provided that here.
