Abhijit Dipke, founder of the 'Cockroach Janata Party' (CJP), was detained while preparing for a 'Tiranga March' (Tricolour March) in Delhi on October 16—a protest against irregularities in the voter list and demanding the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC). He was released today, October 17. A Delhi court ordered his release, contingent upon the signing of a 50,000-rupee bond and an undertaking to maintain peace and public order.
