The couple celebrated their marriage at a picturesque venue in Paarl, in South Africa’s Western Cape province. Spiller gave followers a glimpse of the occasion by sharing photographs on her Instagram Stories.
Du Plessis is an internationally recognised mixed martial arts fighter who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
His wedding attracted attention from fans interested in both his sporting career and his relationship with Spiller.

Du Plessis and Spiller reportedly met in 2023 at CIT Boxing in Hatfield, Pretoria. At the time, du Plessis trained at the gym, while Spiller worked there as a boxing coach as reported by Briefly News.
The couple announced their engagement in January 2025 during celebrations for du Plessis’s 31st birthday.
The UFC fighter has previously spoken about the demands of preparing for fights and the importance of having a supportive partner. In an interview with KFM, he explained that training for a bout can require him to put other parts of his life on hold, making understanding and support at home important.
Spiller has supported his mixed martial arts career while pursuing her own interests as a boxing coach, photographer and author.
