The Oshakati Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday postponed the formal bail application of murder accused Joseph Nghishihange to Thursday.
His legal representative, Tunga Ndatewapo, says Nghishihange, a forex trader, had not paid his legal fees.
“He has not placed us in funds but he indicated that the money will be paid today. We applied for the matter to be rolled over tomorrow,” Ndatewapo says.
She has informed the court that Nghishihange intended to apply for legal aid in relation to the main case.
He is accused of murdering his daughter, Mia (5), at a house at Ongwediva early this year.
Nghishihange appeared before magistrate Nelao Ya France. Prosecutor Kleopas Imalwa represented the state.
