The Yankees made the right call to bring back pitching coach Matt Blake on a three-year deal. The Yankees not only had the top ERA this season (3.23), but believe it or not, they are tops this postseason (1.88).
Their hitting obviously didn’t match up.
GM Brian Cashman’s new deal isn’t signed yet but will be.
Anyone who doesn’t agree with bringing Cashman back hasn’t been paying attention. He’s made the postseason 24 times in 29 years.
