Due to an AWS Service issue, some users may experience difficulties viewing asset balances, transferring funds between accounts, using Convert, and accessing certain related features. Users' assets remain secure, although certain asset queries and related functions are temporarily affected. We are closely monitoring this situation and working to restore services as soon as possible. I. Scope of Impact
- Asset Overview (App / Web): All users are temporarily unable to view their total asset overview.
- API Asset Queries: Certain asset queries are returning abnormal results.
- Account Transfers: Some transfer functions between Classic and UTA accounts (Unified Trading Account) are experiencing issues. In certain cases, the transfer module may fail to load properly.
- Classic Spot Trading: Placing spot orders with the "Savings" fund source enabled may result in errors.
- Convert: Settlement of some Convert orders has been affected.
- Trading Bots & Bonus Funds: Certain bot shutdown operations and bonus fund queries are affected.
- UTA & Classic Mode Switching: Users are temporarily unable to switch between UTA mode and Classic mode during the disruption.
- UTA Maximum Tradable Amount Queries (App / Web): This affects the display of maximum quantities for Spot, Margin, and Futures, as well as percentage-based order placement and quick quantity calculations.
- UTA Futures Available Balance Queries (App / Web): Available balance queries for UTA Futures are returning abnormal results. When no valid push data is available, a placeholder is displayed. The maximum top-up amount shown in the Add Margin pop-up is also affected.
- UTA Futures Available Balance Initial Query & Polling (App): The interface may continue loading when no valid balance data is available; previously loaded balance or push data may continue to be displayed.
- UTA Futures Order Cost, Cost Per Contract & Estimated Liquidation Price Queries (App / Web): This affects estimation displays and unit conversions on the order placement interface and K-line quick order panel.
- UTA Margin tokens, Index Prices, Risk Limits & Order Margin Usage Queries(App / Web): Queries for margin tokens, index prices, and margin usage in the Cross Margin pop-up are affected.
- Others: Other unexpected errors may also be related to this AWS service disruption, not limited to API errors, UTA futures and etc.
II. Recommendations
- UTA Users: Until the relevant REST API queries are restored, we recommend subscribing to WebSocket channels for real-time account asset updates. Please note that the data received may be incomplete or delayed.
- Asset Queries: If your total assets display abnormally or your UTA assets show as 0, this is a display error caused by the disruption. Please rest assured that your assets are safe.
- Convert & Transfers: If you experience order settlement delays or transfer module loading failures, please monitor the page and order status carefully to avoid duplicate operations due to unconfirmed statuses.
- Classic Spot Trading: We recommend disabling the Lending fund source when placing spot orders to avoid order failures. During the disruption, please use assets in your Spot Account for trading.
During the disruption, displayed balances, maximum tradable amounts and estimated liquidation prices may be inaccurate or outdated. Please exercise caution when placing orders or adjusting positions. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this disruption. Thank you for your understanding and patience. A separate notice will be issued once services are fully restored.
