Teams on bye in Week 7: Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Chargers and Washington Commanders.

Denver Broncos at Arizona Cardinals

• Favorite: Broncos –4.5
• Game Total: 43.5
• Implied Point Total: Broncos 24, Cardinals 19.5

Broncos Fantasy Notes

Must-Start Players: None

Broncos RBs

Both RJ Harvey (3-31-0 receiving, 25 yards rushing) and J.K. Dobbins (3-5-0 receiving, 41 yards rushing) scored rushing touchdowns and were the main ways the Broncos moved the ball on a night when Bo Nix passed for a whopping 107 yards. Famed wrestling announcer Jim Ross would describe this offense as “bowling shoe ugly.” Dobbins totaled 61% of the team’s rushing attempts, but nobody was overly efficient. After what seemed to be a failed attempt to install offensive coordinator Davis Webb as the playcaller, and with Sean Payton now holding the play sheet once again, we’re left hoping there’s a secret “third playcaller” who can right the ship and make this offense fantasy-relevant once again.

Fantasy Advice: The Broncos’ offense is putrid. Even if you want to use Harvey as a fantasy starter for his receiving work, it’s all at the whim of Payton, who will decide whether that’s something he wants to use. He’ll also try to fit Dobbins into a “square peg, round hole” role by repeatedly running him up the middle for 2.5 yards per carry. None of that is helpful, but both players are on the flex radar and could serve as emergency RB2 options when the Broncos face the Cardinals, who are a middle-of-the-road defense against fantasy running backs.

WR Jaylen Waddle

The only realistic starting wide receiver option for fantasy football, thanks to our wonderful and fearless Broncos leader Sean Payton, is Jaylen Waddle. He led the Broncos with seven targets but also led the team with a four-reception, 24-yard stat line. I can’t imagine this is what the Broncos traded multiple picks for, but even in a GREAT matchup against the Cards, Waddle is hard to start as anything more than a flex play.

Fantasy Advice: I’ll slot Waddle into my flex against one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL in Week 7, but I’m still not expecting too much.

Cardinals Fantasy Notes

Must-Start Players: TE Trey McBride

QB Jacoby Brissett

Brissett has sandwiched QB4 and QB6 performances around three stinkers, with no better than a QB21 finish in the games before and after those two top-six weeks. He faces the Broncos with a passing game that has cooled in recent weeks, not just in production but also in efficiency. The Cardinals posted a negative PROE in Week 6, with the fourth-lowest mark (-4.9%) among the 28 teams that played. With the possibility that the Cardinals could add more rushing to their arsenal with Bam Knight, Tyler Allgeier and potentially Jeremiyah Love if healthy, that approach makes sense against a Broncos defense that is much worse against the run than the pass. Brissett is a tough sell for me in Week 7.

Fantasy Advice: Brissett is a solid QB2 for superflex and multiple-quarterback leagues, but I’m holding off on starting him in single-quarterback leagues. This game has the potential to get very ugly, very quickly.

WR Michael Wilson

After two consecutive games with 13 or more targets, our guy has seen seven targets in each of the past two games, with just four receptions in each for 30 and 32 yards, respectively. We’re getting glimpses of what we saw during Wilson’s initial breakout last season, but overall, his performance has been a bit of a “Jekyll and Hyde” situation through the first six games of the 2026 season. While Wilson remains a startable option, his floor is getting shakier with each underperforming week.

Fantasy Advice: Wilson is more of a low-end WR3. He has a bad matchup against the Broncos’ secondary, even if Pat Surtain is sidelined.

Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions

• Favorite: Lions –3
• Game Total: 53.5
• Implied Point Total: Lions 28.25, Packers 25.25

Packers Fantasy Notes

Must-Start Players: QB Jordan Love, WR Christian Watson, WR Matthew Golden

Packers RBs

Having been removed from the Commissioner’s Exempt List, Josh Jacobs is expected to make his season debut for the Packers. He’ll certainly be an upgrade in the running game, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Green Bay also works in MarShawn Lloyd and Pierre Strong Jr. alongside Jacobs. In terms of how to value Jacobs, this feels more like a “let’s see how they treat him” situation than one in which we should make a definitive proclamation about his value.

Fantasy Advice: If you’re going to start him, I wouldn’t trust Jacobs as anything more than a flex option in his first game back.

TE Tucker Kraft

Even with a season-high eight targets in Week 6 against the Cowboys, Kraft has been a bit of an afterthought alongside Christian Watson and Matthew Golden this season. That just means the Packers have the NFL right where they want them, as far as unleashing Kraft at the opportune time. Because guess which team gives up the MOST fantasy points per game to tight ends, a full 5.8 fantasy points more than the next-worst team against tight ends?

I’ll give you a hint: The team rhymes with “Betroit Mions.”

Fantasy Advice: You’ve gotta start Kraft against Detroit this week. He’s a must-start player in a matchup that could go crazy with scoring.

Lions Fantasy Notes

Must-Start Players: QB Jared Goff, RB Jahmyr Gibbs, WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, TE Sam LaPorta

WR Jameson Williams

Much like Tucker Kraft on the Packers’ side, Williams has been a bit of a forgotten man for the Lions this season. Then, in Week 4, Williams had a 6-102 game on a season-high eight targets. He followed that with two touchdowns on a 2-47 receiving line against the Cardinals before the Lions’ Week 6 bye. Now, Williams is poised to rack up air yards for the Lions in the highest over/under (53.5) of the Week 7 slate. If you like offense, this game is for you. It’s an “all hands on deck” situation for both the Lions and Packers, so start ’em if you’ve got ’em, within reason. I have to say that because somebody out there will start Isaac TeSlaa, and I can’t co-sign that.

Fantasy Advice: Williams is a lock for fantasy lineups this week in a shootout environment at Lambeau Field.

Los Angeles Rams at Las Vegas Raiders

• Favorite: Rams –3.5
• Game Total: 48.5
• Implied Point Total: Rams 26, Raiders 22.5

Rams Fantasy Notes

Must-Start Players: WR Puka Nacua (if healthy)

QB Matthew Stafford

Without Adams, it’s going to be tougher sledding for Stafford as a fantasy asset. Sure, he’s thrown three touchdown passes in his last two games, but that’s a huge loss. Stafford can’t throw the ball to Puka Nacua on every down, can he? Las Vegas represents a good matchup, as the Raiders have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. Las Vegas also gives the Rams a good launching point to get back into contention in 2026.

Fantasy Advice: Continue starting Stafford each week, even with Adams sidelined.

Rams RBs

An easy way to break down this running back split: Kyren Williams runs far more routes than Blake Corum. At the end of the day, however, they’re both likely to get nearly the same number of carries each week unless something unusual happens. It’s a great offense, and Corum is viable here even without heavy receiving work. Hilariously, as I say that, Corum caught a receiving touchdown against the Cardinals in Week 6.

Fantasy Advice: Williams is an easy start as a high-end RB2, with Corum as a flex play against the Raiders’ porous run defense.

TE Tyler Higbee

Amid all the tight end talk, Higbee has been running a ton of routes for the Rams lately, reaching 81% in Week 6. With Adams out, Higbee just became VERY important. After Nacua, the Rams will spread some targets among several other players, but Higbee is likely to be the second option more often than not in this offense. He’s been pretty solid for the most part. With Terrance Ferguson able to come off the Reserve/Injured list next week, we’ll see what his return timeline looks like. Reports earlier in the week suggested he still needs more time. That said, continue rolling out Higbee for the time being.

Fantasy Advice: A lot of people have been hip to starting Higbee, but you may have two to three weeks of starting viability left for him as a low-end TE1 in a great matchup against the Raiders.

Raiders Fantasy Notes

Must-Start Players: TE Brock Bowers

QB Kirk Cousins

The resurgence of Cousins as a not-so-embarrassing fantasy start in 2026 has been well documented, with four games at QB12 or better this season, including Week 6. Cousins went 23-of-41 for 313 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Can he do the same against the Rams? It’s going to depend heavily on big plays and the tight end duo to get Cousins over the hump. Can he do it? This is a home game against the 2-4 Rams, who need to get going soon to make something of their disappointing start to the season.

Fantasy Advice: I don’t know if I can get there with Cousins as a fantasy starter this week, but he’s more of a superflex QB2 or low-end streamer. You’re banking on volume to get him into the QB12-or-better range in Week 7.

RB Ashton Jeanty

The worst-kept secret in football — that Jeanty is clearly hurt — keeps on chugging. Jeanty rushed for 2.2 yards per carry, scored a short touchdown and added four catches for 36 yards to piece together a top-10 fantasy finish in Week 6. Jeanty doesn’t look like himself, and I don’t know how he’s gutting it out or why he isn’t on the injury report, but here we are. Mike Washington Jr. also had nine carries for 43 yards, but Jeanty had the receiving work on lockdown. Still, Washington is likely to get some work to help manage Jeanty and his mysterious injury for the foreseeable future.

Fantasy Advice: If the Raiders are going to keep trotting Jeanty out there, we’ve got to start him, but we don’t have to start him as anything more than a low-end RB2 or flex option.

WR Tre Tucker

Tucker has recorded at least four receptions and 40 or more yards in each of his last five games, but he exploded for a 6-97-2 line as the Raiders made a game of it against the Buffalo Bills before eventually falling short by a field goal. Despite the big performance, it’s hard to trust Tucker in your lineup. While he represents the only worthy wide receiver on the Raiders’ roster, he’s still well behind Brock Bowers, Michael Mayer and Jeanty in the target pecking order.

Fantasy Advice: Despite the big game against the Bills, Tucker is merely a low-end flex play against the Rams in Week 7.

Kansas City Chiefs at Seattle Seahawks

• Favorite: Seahawks –3
• Game Total: 42.5
• Implied Point Total: Seahawks 23.25, Chiefs 19.25

Chiefs Fantasy Notes

Must-Start Players: QB Patrick Mahomes, RB Kenneth Walker III

WR Xavier Worthy

With Rashee Rice out for another week, most of the wide receiver production fell to Worthy, who put up a solid 7-74 line. Still, it felt like he should have done more because he was stuck at four catches for most of the first half before catching another pass just before halftime. I’ll never understand why teams move away from things that are clearly working, as Worthy was the fastest and most dynamic player on the field when the Chiefs were on offense. With Rice still not practicing as of Thursday, it looks like another week with Worthy at the top of the wide receiver pecking order.

Fantasy Advice: Treat Worthy as a low-end option on Sunday Night Football against the Seahawks. The Chiefs should move him around to give him easy throws and opportunities to gain yards after the catch.

TE Travis Kelce

Kelce is supposed to be a volume-dependent tight end, but is the volume in the room with us right now? Over the last two weeks, Kelce has just eight combined targets, with eight receptions for 68 yards. That feels like production you can find on waivers, not from a tight end in a Mahomes-led offense missing its top pass-catcher. Kelce has been efficient with the targets he HAS received. He’s on pace for 1,017 yards but is also on pace for a career-low 88 targets. Sure, we’re used to the best from Kelce, and a lot of tight ends would kill for 88 targets. Still, there’s so much meat left on the bone for the Chiefs’ pass-catchers, and it feels like it’s going to waste.

Fantasy Advice: We’re still starting Kelce here because the offensive environment is too good. However, it’s concerning that he seems to have been forgotten a little, especially under circumstances that should be boosting his numbers.

Seahawks Fantasy Notes

Must-Start Players: WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba

Seahawks RBs

While Emanuel Wilson handled 54% of the team’s rushing attempts in Week 6 against the Broncos, George Holani and Velus Jones Jr. combined for nine carries, and Holani scored a short rushing touchdown. Add in Zach Charbonnet being activated from the PUP list and Jadarian Price becoming eligible to come off the Reserve/Injured list in Week 8, and this backfield has quickly become much busier and more confusing. As of this writing, it’s hard to sort out the backfield for Week 7, but Charbonnet, Wilson and Holani could all be involved in some capacity. That makes it incredibly difficult to start anyone here.

Fantasy Advice: Without more information, and because nobody in Seattle’s backfield clearly stands head and shoulders above the rest, I wouldn’t start Charbonnet or Wilson in any but the deepest fantasy leagues. The Chiefs have allowed the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing backfields, making it even harder to start any of these players.

Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles

• Favorite: Cowboys –4.5
• Game Total: 44.5
• Implied Point Total: Cowboys 24.5, Eagles 20

Cowboys Fantasy Notes

Must-Start Players: WR CeeDee Lamb, WR George Pickens

QB Dak Prescott

Despite Dak Prescott attempting 54 passes on Sunday Night Football last week, all he could muster was 258 yards, a touchdown to Ryan Flournoy and two interceptions against the Packers. The Cowboys ran into a Packers’ buzzsaw at home, where the defense showed up in a big way. Dallas had to throw its way through the game, with just 13 running back carries compared with the aforementioned 54 pass attempts. Even with 40-plus pass attempts in each of the last four games, Prescott has finished no better than QB12 in any of them. It hasn’t been great for Prescott lately, but things should turn around at some point with that kind of volume. The Eagles haven’t been great against fantasy quarterbacks, allowing the 10th-most fantasy points per game, so perhaps this matchup could spark a fantasy turnaround. Or maybe just a turnaround.

Fantasy Advice: Hopefully, this divisional matchup against the Ship of Theseus Eagles will cure what ails the Cowboys, so I’m still willing to start Prescott as a low-end QB1 against Philadelphia.

RB Javonte Williams

With 54 pass attempts, it doesn’t take much deduction to figure out that the running game didn’t have much opportunity in a game with only 13 running back carries. Still, Williams handled 11 of those attempts for 41 yards and a goal-line touchdown, Dallas’s first score of the game, in the third quarter. Even with the offense leaning heavily on the passing game, Williams’s role remains incredibly strong, and he doesn’t have to worry about anyone else taking work away from him.

Fantasy Advice: Give Williams mid-range RB2 treatment against the Eagles in Philadelphia on Monday night.

Eagles Fantasy Notes

Must-Start Players: None

Eagles RBs

Dameon Pierce filled in admirably for the 34 Eagles running backs who were injured ahead of him in Week 6. (Okay, it was three.) He finished with 50 total yards and a touchdown on 16 touches, playing 95% of the snaps and running 61% of the routes. However, it’s looking increasingly likely that Saquon Barkley will return in Week 7 from the hamstring injury that sidelined him for two weeks, so he’s back in fantasy lineups as long as he’s active.

Fantasy Advice: Dallas has allowed the ninth-most fantasy points per game to opposing backfields. While Pierce would be a flex play against the Cowboys in Week 7, Barkley would immediately return to high-end RB2 territory if he’s healthy.

WR DeVonta Smith

After missing two games with hamstring and toe injuries, Smith returned to his usual target-earning role with the Eagles, albeit with a different quarterback. Even with Tanner McKee under center, Smith caught 7 of 14 targets for 75 yards and a touchdown. Smith played with a more managed workload, sitting out a drive here and there, and ran routes on 71% of McKee’s dropbacks. Although he didn’t practice on Thursday, he’s likely getting a maintenance day or two before returning to the field on game day. His route participation should climb back toward its usual near-full level as he gets healthier.

Fantasy Advice: Smith produces with McKee under center, but his fantasy floor, along with those of the other Eagles pass-catchers, is likely a bit lower without Jalen Hurts. Still, I’m happy to slot Smith into fantasy lineups as a WR2 with upside in a game that could feature some back-and-forth scoring against the Cowboys.

TE Dallas Goedert

If you’re expecting me to trash the Eagles’ passing game in this space, do I have a plot twist for you! The volume has certainly been there for the Eagles, and even with Smith returning to the lineup last week against the Panthers, Goedert still earned eight targets and turned them into six receptions for 61 yards. Smith and Goedert both consolidated targets in this version of the Eagles’ offense, combining for half of the targets among the pass-catchers. I can’t imagine the targets will be that concentrated every week, but it’s nice to see Goedert earn that kind of volume when the team needs someone else to step up.

Fantasy Advice: Goedert is a sneaky low-end TE1 or high-end TE2, but he’s certainly startable with four teams on bye during a week when Dalton Kincaid, Brenton Strange and Chig Okonkwo are also on bye.
