Kim Kardashian dresses as North West for Halloween and sends a clear message to critics of her parenting

This year, Kim kicked off her Halloween costumes by dressing exactly like her daughter, complete with blue hair and piercings. She also recreated North’s black nails and teeth, proving that when it comes to Halloween, the smallest details matter.

The resemblance between the two was striking, with the costume highlighting just how much they look alike. But beyond their physical similarities, the idea behind the look carried a message for those who have criticized Kim for allowing North to express herself through her appearance and giving her the freedom to shape her own style.

Kim stands by North’s creative freedom

By recreating her daughter’s look, Kim appeared to show that she supports North’s creativity and sees her as a source of inspiration. North is the daughter of two people who have built their public identities around art, fashion and self-expression, making her desire to develop a distinct personality a natural part of her upbringing.

Kim has consistently defended the way North chooses to present herself to the world, supporting her decisions about her appearance despite the criticism that has followed. Her Halloween costume reinforced that position, showing that she is comfortable embracing her daughter’s style rather than asking her to conform to other people’s expectations.

Kim embraces her role as North’s biggest supporter

The transformation also showed how closely Kim pays attention to the details of North’s look, from her hair to her nails and teeth. By recreating the entire style, she turned a Halloween costume into a reflection of the freedom she allows her daughter to express herself.

Kim got the look right on every level, embracing North’s signature style and presenting herself as one of the coolest moms this Halloween.
