SEIL Energy officials handing over the raw water pumping project technical report to Deputy Speaker K. Raghu Ramakrishna Raju and APIIC Chairman Mantena Rama Raju at Juvvalapalem village in Undi constituency on Monday.
Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker K. Raghu Ramakrishna Raju on Monday inaugurated a 10-km raw water pumping project at Juvvalapalem village in Undi constituency. The project was funded by SEIL Energy India Limited (SEIL) under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Union Minister of State for Steel and Heavy Industries Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma and Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) Chairman Mantena Rama Raju were present.
SEIL contributed ₹1.56 crore towards the project, which aims to address the drinking water problems faced by around 10,000 people in Kalavapudi, Pallipalem, Prathella Meraka, Modi and S.C. Bose Colony. The surrounding areas have high salinity levels, making access to potable water difficult.
SEIL CEO Janmejaya Mahapatra said the project reflected the company’s commitment to community development and sustainable progress.
