Fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers, rejoice! The team received a massive injury update ahead of the Week 7 Paris matchup against the New Orleans Saints.
Courtesy of the Steelers' Week 7 injury report, we learned that safety DeShon Elliott, who missed the final 10 games of the 2025 season and began 2026 on injured reserve, was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. This is incredible news for Elliott's availability and strongly hints at a Week 7 return against the Saints in Paris.

Elliott, who signed with the Steelers in 2024, had an incredible debut season with Pittsburgh and earned himself a two-year extension in June 2025. Unfortunately, his second year with the Steelers didn't go as planned, and he missed 12 total games in 2025, including a season-ending hyperextended knee and hamstring tear.
If his practice participation on Wednesday wasn't enough to leave fans confident about a Week 7 comeback, the Steelers also made a key roster move that all but points to Elliott returning in Paris.
