Lorraine Kelly has shared an admission about her sex life which is set to leave daughter Rosie Kelly Smith red-faced.
The daytime television legend, 66, has been married to cameraman husband Steve Smith since 1992.
The pair share daughter Rosie together.
Born in 1994, Rosie, 32, has gone on to follow in her mother’s footsteps as a journalist, author and podcaster.
However, Lorraine has admitted that she’s set to ‘mortify’ Rosie after sharing insight into her sex life.
Reflecting on her recent weight loss after cutting alcohol out of her diet, Lorraine shared that sex with Steve is as good as ever.
‘Getting fitter hasn’t changed my relationship with Steve,’ she told The Sun.
‘We’re all so coy about sex and Rosie would be mortified if we talk about my sex life, but it’s part of life.’
She finished: ‘And the healthier you are and the more energy you’ve got, then great. Why not? Go for it!’
Lorraine previously joked about her sex life during a 2025 episode of Loose Women in which she talked about the importance of breast cancer awareness.
‘Once a month, every two weeks, it’s really up to you. It’s about your normal though. Some women have got lumpy boobies,’ she began.
‘It’s whatever suits you. For me I do it once a month,’ she continued, before joking: ‘but my husband checks my boobies quite regularly.’
Lorraine and Steve met while working together in television in the 1980s and this year celebrated 34 years of marriage.
Back in 2021, Lorraine credited him with her success, telling The Mirror: ‘He picks up the slack and always has.
‘I couldn’t do what I do if it weren’t for him. He makes me laugh an awful lot. He’s very kind and a brilliant dad.’
In 2024, Lorraine became a grandmother when Rosie welcomed her first child into the world.
Responding to Rosie’s pregnancy announcement on Instagram, an overjoyed Lorraine wrote: ‘THE most exciting thing to have ever happened in our family!
‘Cannot wait to be a granny and so proud of Rosie and her Steve. It’s the best news EVER!’
Rosie, who married Steve White in 2026, has made a number of appearances on television with her famous mother – most notably on Celebrity Gogglebox in 2021 and 2022.
That same year, Rosie appeared on Loose Women, where she shared her experience as the daughter of of TV’s Lorraine.
‘Growing up you were always on the TV, so I never knew any different really. People I went to school with were lovely – everyone’s always been so nice,’ she told her mum.
‘I think it’s because you’re embarrassing, but not an embarrassing mum in the sense that you… you have a lovely job, and you’re very respectful and lovely,’ she continued.
