Celebrities flocked to Grosvenor House in London on Monday night for the annual Pride of Britain Awards. The best of British television, film and sports came out in force for the 2026 ceremony, hosted by Carol Vorderman and Ashley Banjo.
The Pride of Britain Awards honours unsung heroes: ordinary members of the public who have demonstrated extraordinary courage, bravery, or dedication to helping others. The show, which airs on ITV this Thursday night, is famed for delivering highly emotional moments – there's usually not a dry eye in the house!
A highlight of this year's ceremony will no doubt be the presentation of the prize for Outstanding Bravery to Andrew Franks, a volunteer security guard who tackled a knife-wielding attacker during a terror attack at the Heaton Park synagogue in Manchester, saving lives in the process.
