Logitech has launched a new mouse in China that can change its form. The new rechargeable mouse launches as the Logitech Pebble Up and can switch from a standard mouse to a vertical mouse.
A few months ago, Logitech launched the Mobi Fold mouse which folds like a clamshell phone when not in use. It has now followed it with another uniquely-designed mouse called the Pebble Up, and like the Mobi Fold, this transforms too.
The Logitech Pebble Up mouse looks just like the regular Pebble mouse (available on Amazon for $18.74). However, there are some key differences. For starters, the Pebble Up is slightly thicker, and that is as a result of its dual-form design. What this means is that it can be used as a regular mouse, and can also tilt to the right, transforming into a vertical mouse with better ergonomics like the Logitech Lift (curr. available on Amazon for $63.99).
Available in Rose Pink, Graphite Gray, and Pearl White, the Logitech Pebble Up features an optical sensor with a 4200 CPI. It also has a segmented roller, four buttons including a dedicated DPI button, scroll wheel button, and a gesture button.
Unlike the standard Pebble mouse that uses a single AA battery, the Pebble Up mouse has a 290mAh rechargeable battery that lasts up to 90 days on a single charge. It connects via Bluetooth and can be paired to up to three devices at a time. It also has support for Logitech Bolt USB Receiver.
Despite its increased thickness, it is only two grams lighter than the Pebble mouse at 79 grams, while its length and width are a few millimeters shorter and wider. So if you are switching from the Pebble mouse, it should be easy to quickly adapt to the new mouse.
The Logitech Pebble Up mouse is compatible with Windows, macOS, iPadOS, Linux, ChromeOS, and Android. It is currently available to buy in China for CNY 251.1 (~$38/€34) on JD.com. Logitech hasn't announced when the mouse will be available in other regions.
