This is a game we’ve had circled all season.
The Patriots meet the Bears in Thursday Night Football at Soldier Field. It’s Drake Maye vs. Caleb Williams for the second time in the quarterbacks’ young careers. Maye won the first meeting, 19-3, during their rookie seasons in 2024.
A lot has changed for both sides since then. The Patriots, obviously, went to the Super Bowl under Mike Vrabel’s leadership. Williams has been much better with his own coaching change as Ben Johnson took over last year.
The duo will forever be compared to each other, and this is just the latest iteration. It would’ve been better if this game hadn’t been played on a short week. But we’ll take the matchup in any form.
Kickoff is 8:15 p.m. on Prime Video. Follow along for live updates, scores and analysis of the primetime showdown.
