A 40-year-old Mississauga man faces 25 drug and firearm-related charges after $70,000 worth of drugs and four weapons were allegedly seized by Peel Regional Police.
Cops say they began a probe in September following community complaints of drug trafficking in the Meadowvale area.
On Oct. 10, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence near Winston Churchill Blvd. and Derry Rd. and allegedly seized four firearms, including one 9mm automatic machine gun and three handguns, along with a large quantity of drugs, including cocaine, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, cannabis, hashish and prescription pills, and $7,885 in Canadian currency
Daniel Ross faces 13 firearm-related charges and nine drug-related charges plus one of possession of proceeds of crime.
To date, Peel cops have seized 136 firearms in 2026.
“Every illegal firearm seized and every quantity of drugs removed from our streets represents harm prevented and helps make our communities safer,” Deputy Chief Marc Andrews said in a statement.

MAN ACCUSED OF SEXUALLY ASSAULTING GIRLS IN ETOBICOKE
A 39-year-old Toronto man faces multiple sex assault charges following two incidents after being charged with the same offence earlier this year.
The first incident allegedly occurred on Oct. 15 around 12:30 p.m., in the Lake Shore Blvd. W. and Royal York Rd. area.
Toronto Police allege an underage female victim was walking with a friend in the area of Amos Waites Park when a man approached them and complimented the victim on her outfit.
It’s further alleged the man then sexually assaulted the girl before fleeing the area on foot.
In the second incident, on Oct. 17 around 2 p.m., police responded to a call for harassment in the Queensway and Islington Ave. area.
It’s alleged that the underage female victim was with their family at a business in the area when a man approached her and complimented her on her outfit.
It’s further alleged when the girl attempted to move away from the man, he sexually assaulted her, was confronted by her mother and then fled the area on foot.
Investigators subsequently identified a suspect believed to be responsible for both incidents and arrested him on Wednesday.
Terrence James Noonan was charged with two counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference with a person under 16 years of age and four counts of disobey lawful order of court.
Noonan was charged back in January with another sexual assault in the area of Kipling Ave. and Lake Shore Blvd. W. where it was alleged a woman was waiting for a TTC bus around 4 p.m. when a man approached and sexually assaulted her.
Investigators believe there may be more victims and an image of the accused has been released.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 416-808-2200.
