Unstable weather expected Friday through Sunday — ODPEM
২৩/১০/২০২৬

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaicans are advised to prepare for showers and thunderstorms starting Friday and continuing through the weekend.
The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management said Wednesday that a broad trough currently across the northwestern Caribbean is expected to move closer to Jamaica by Thursday night.
Consequently, unstable weather conditions are expected across the island beginning Friday morning.
The forecast is for periods of showers and thunderstorms, which may be heavy at times, to affect most parishes, especially eastern and central parishes, through Sunday.
Fishers and other marine interests, both inshore and offshore along the north and south coasts, should exercise caution, as sea conditions are expected to deteriorate in the vicinity of showers, thunderstorms, and squalls.
