A youth game was reportedly in full swing on the field in the city of Wichita. The driver has been taken into custody.
"She has been cooperative so far in the investigation," said Aaron Moses of the Wichita police, according to American ABC News.
Of the injured, five are reportedly children, the oldest of whom is nine years old.
"We know what happened, but we're working very hard to figure out why it happened. And we're not there yet," said Police Chief Joe Sullivan.
