(ANSA) - ROME, 14 OTT - Te far-right National Future (FnV) party of general-turned politician Roberto Vannacci was strongly critical Wednesday of Premier Giorgia Meloni's stance against the deal struck between United States President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin for Washington to resume buying some of Moscow's diesel fuel.
"We are deeply disappointed" by Meloni's stance against the US-Putin deal on diesel, as "she continues to back the policy of supplying money and weapons to Kyiv.
"We need a fuel agreement with Russia," said Edoardo Ziello, Lower House whip of Futuro Nazionale, during a flash mob outside the Huse held in front of a banner reading: "Diesel: one lesson from the US-Russia deal - Now it's Italy's turn." "Giorgia Meloni is heading in the opposite direction, and this is certainly a problem for us. We will voice our opposition in the Chamber," added FnV bigwig Laura Ravetto.
