📅 Founding year: 2021
🏭 Industry: Defense tech; UAV
💥 Problem: The defense sector needs secure manufacturing and resilient supply chains, plus NATO-grade reconnaissance drones that stay operational even under GPS/signal interference.
📣 Solution: Falcon MK3S unmanned aircraft (NATO Class I / Mini) for surveillance and reconnaissance — multiple cameras incl. night vision, and communication systems that keep operators in control even during GPS jamming. All major components designed and manufactured in-house (camera to flight-control computer); critical parts sourced only from countries friendly to Lithuania. Also developing HydroHex, a platform that both flies and operates on water.
👥 Customers: Armed forces of several NATO countries; products integrated into air defense and critical-infrastructure protection systems. Clear civilian applications too.
🎳 Team size: 11-50
🌱 Stage: Seed
💰 Investment amount: Over €2M($2.2M)
🚀 Funded by: CoInvest Capital (lead); NGL Ventures syndicate + 68 business angels (€560,000 of the round — NGL Ventures’ largest syndicate ever); angels from the Lithuanian Business Angel Network (LitBAN); and Plug and Play Ventures (Silicon Valley).
👁️🗨️ Investor’s perspective:
“We invest first and foremost in teams, and the Monopulse team brings together a rare combination of deep engineering expertise and a strong understanding of what the military needs today… Within the next few years, Monopulse could become an integral part of Europe’s defense supply chain – a company that allies turn to not because it is Lithuanian, but because it is the best.”
— Viktorija Trimbel, Managing Director, CoInvest Capital.
“What convinced us most was Monopulse’s commercial progress and the team’s ability to deploy capital effectively. Last year, the company more than tripled its revenue while raising a relatively small amount of external capital. Its technology is no longer just a prototype: the Falcon drones… are already being used by the armed forces of several NATO countries.”
— Justinas Pašys, Founder & CEO, NGL Ventures.
💡 It will be spent on: Expanding production capacity, supporting R&D, and accelerating entry into Scandinavian and other international markets (Germany, France, the Netherlands).
💬 In their own words:
“We operate in a dynamic defense technology sector where technologies are evolving rapidly and customers demand secure manufacturing and resilient supply chains. This investment will enable us to scale our production capacity while ensuring that our customers receive our products quickly and on schedule.”
— Justas Poderys, Founder & CEO.
💪 Their specialty: Their solution integrates vertically. They design and manufacture all major components in-house (from camera to flight-control computer); their supply chain is restricted to friendly countries for security/resilience; drones stay controllable under GPS interference.
🔑 Business model: Designs and manufactures UAVs sold to defense/military customers (B2G) across NATO markets, with civilian applications.
💸 Funding so far: €2M+ with this round, on top of a $35K Plug and Play seed (November 2025)
