If you’re a fashion lover, you’ve no doubt heard of Prada’s famed Re-Nylon line. Well, now, you can shop its Re-Cashmere and Re-Wool collections, too. Don’t you just love circular fashion?
The lines utilize pre-consumer cashmere and wool scraps, transforming them into new yarns and eventually new ready-to-wear, giving another life to cutting-room scraps and surplus fabrics that would otherwise go to waste.
Because production depends on the scraps available, quantities are limited, giving each Re- piece a collectible quality that makes it an exciting addition to anyone’s repertoire.

The initiative doesn’t just prioritize circularity; it also promotes traceability. All Re-Cashmere and Re-Wool items include an NFC tag connected to the Aura Consortium platform, where customers can see the fibers’ origins, suppliers, and production chain.
In true Prada form, both lines are produced in Italy. Cashmere pieces are collected, sorted by color, and processed before being spun into new yarns—all of which is certified by the Sustainable Fibre Alliance, meaning the end product is Global Recycled Standard certified.
Although the name wouldn’t suggest it, the Re-Wool line actually combines recycled wool and cashmere from the Prada Group. Non-wool components are removed before the fibers are spun into new yarn ready to be made into apparel.
From butter yellow knit polos to on-trend blue sweaters and so much more, shop the Re-Cashmere and Re-Wool lines on Prada.com and below.
