No. 6 Indiana vs. Michigan
For the first time since the 2024 season, Indiana lost a football game last weekend. The Hoosiers were inches away from pulling out the win over Ohio State, but wide receiver Nick Marsh misjudged his footing when catching the game-winning touchdown pass.
Now, Michigan will host the angry Hoosiers, and the Wolverines are going to look different. Freshman Tommy Carr is in line to make his first career start with Bryce Underwood headed to the bench. There is a lot of uncertainty regarding Carr, and this is a big test for his first start.
Michigan’s defense should be able to hold its own, but the Hoosiers’ defense could rattle Carr early.
Final score: Indiana 24, Michigan 13
No. 16 USC vs. Wisconsin

Wisconsin appeared to turn the corner but ran into the juggernaut that is UCLA. Was that game a mirage, or is Luke Fickell’s team just not there yet? We are going to really find out more about the Badgers this weekend when they host USC.
After scoring seven points and quarterback Colton Joseph throwing for 66 yards, Wisconsin looks to get back in the win column this weekend. The Trojans are coming off their bye in hopes of getting healthier. Prior to the bye, USC defeated both Washington and Penn State. Quarterback Jayden Maiava remains one of the best passers in the Big Ten.
Wisconsin will have to score points in this game to win, because it’s going to be hard to stop Maiava and the USC offense.
Final score: USC 31, Wisconsin 24
The rest of the games will be quick-hitter style:
- No. 24 Northwestern 41, Rutgers 13
- Oregon 24, Illinois 17
