[SINGAPORE] Multi-currency e-wallet Youtrip reported a major service outage affecting most of its services on its online status tracker as at noon on Monday (Oct 19).
Of the 19 operations included in its tracking system, only four were functional: log in, view card details, sign up, and eSim. Other operations, including the in-app exchange, wallet balance and digital wallet, were indicated to have a ‘major outage’ status.
In its Facebook comments at 11 am, Youtrip said that the app was experiencing “some technical difficulties”.
“You may find service degradation in using the card for payments and other services, including ATM withdrawals,” Youtrip said.
“We seek your patience and understanding as our teams are currently undergoing technical maintenance to rectify the situation,” it added.
One Facebook user commented at 11 am that despite transferring money into YouTrip two hours prior, it was still showing a pending status.
