Moist and unstable conditions are affecting Belize this Sunday, bringing clouds, showers and thunderstorms to much of the country.
According to the National Meteorological Service, skies will be mostly cloudy today and cloudy at times tonight.
Some showers and a few thunderstorms will likely affect mainly coastal and offshore areas at first. As the day goes on, that activity is expected to spread over most areas of the country.
Tonight, the rain should ease across most of Belize. The exception is the south, where a few more showers and thunderstorms are expected.
It will be a slightly cooler day. Coastal areas will reach 87°F (31°C), with a low of 79°F (26°C). Inland areas will hit 91°F (33°C), cooling to 72°F (22°C) overnight. The hills will see a high of 80°F (27°C) and a low of 68°F (20°C).
