Kian Fitz-Jim replaces Daniel Bragança in the Torino midfield, while Lorenzo Lucchesi returns from suspension in place of Eddy Kouadio, who scored against Cagliari, in Monza’s back three.
It kicks off at 20:45 CET [19:45 BST] at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, opening Round 8 of Serie A.
Ignazio Abate’s Torino are on 10 points after Giovanni Simeone scored twice in Monday’s 3-0 win at Parma. Monza arrive on seven points, fresh from a 4-0 thrashing of Cagliari in which Gustavo Varela also struck twice.
It is also a return to Turin for Monza coach Ivan Juric, who was in charge of Torino from 2021 to 2024.
Torino are without Ricardo Rodríguez, who has a thigh injury. Emirhan Ilkhan (adductor) and Niccolò Fortini also miss out again after sitting out the win at Parma, as does goalkeeper Franco Israel, who has a shoulder problem.
Monza are without captain Matteo Pessina, as well as Jan Ziółkowski and Mayé, all injured.
There is better news for Juric, as Lorenzo Lucchesi returns after serving his suspension against Cagliari. Patrick Ciurria and Idrissa Touré are also back in the squad after recovering from injury. Matías Zeballos and Dany Mota’s fellow forward Ngonge have also been included despite carrying knocks.
Neither side has any players suspended.
Matteo Marchetti will referee the game after replacing the originally appointed Andrea Zanotti.
