Lahore Traffic Police has urged citizens to report dangerous road stunts by sending videos of wheeling and drifting to its WhatsApp number, 03225638888.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Abdul Rahim Shirazi made the appeal as police continued a crackdown on drifting and reckless driving under his orders. He said videos shared by the public would help officers take legal action against offenders.
Meanwhile, traffic police identified a car involved in drifting and unruly behavior after reviewing a video uploaded to social media.
According to a traffic police spokesperson, the footage shows the driver performing dangerous stunts in the vehicle.
Shirazi said police would register cases against anyone who endangers citizens through reckless driving or road stunts. He added that officers would identify the vehicles involved and arrest those responsible.
The CTO also urged parents to guide their children towards constructive activities. He encouraged them to help their children use their abilities productively rather than take part in dangerous pursuits.
