The most ruthless NBA: Dallas waives Spaniard Guillermo Díaz-Graham... to sign his twin brother Jorge!

The Dallas Mavericks signed Spaniard Guillermo Díaz-Graham (23 years odl and 2.13 m)hours after parting ways with his twin brother Jorge Díaz-Graham (23 yeras old and 2.11 m).

The details of the contract were not disclosed, but the Dallas press reports that it is an "Exhibit 10" type of deal, the same one his twin brother signed.

An Exhibit 10 contract in the NBA is a one-season employment agreement, at the minimum salary and with no guaranteed money. It works as a preseason tryout clause.

CBS Sports reports that if Guillermo Díaz-Graham is waived before the start of the NBA season, everything points to him playing for the Texas Legends of the G League (an identical situation to that of his twin brother Jorge).

With this decision, as Gigantes reports, the Dallas Mavericks can facilitate a player's move to their development structure and offer him a financial incentive without needing to reserve him a spot on the NBA roster.

Jorge Díaz Graham (Oregon State) was selected in the 2026 G-League International Draft with the No. 1 pick by the Texas Legends, while his twin brother Guillermo Díaz Graham (San Francisco) was selected with the No. 3 pick by the same team.

The NBA G League International Draft is a specific draft created for international prospects, separate from the general G League draft.

The teams that draft a player retain his G League rights for two seasons.
