The high school football season has built to this.
The top two teams in the Volusia-Flagler area will square off — for a District 2-6A championship, no less — at 7 p.m. Friday. DeLand (7-1) travels to Mainland (4-3) for a meeting at Daytona Stadium.
That contest headlines the Week 10 slate, but there's plenty of other action. The area features nine games, including two Thursday matchups to kick things off. Seabreeze hosts Pine Ridge, and Deltona welcomes Winter Springs to town.
