The country’s popular composer Rajesh Ghosh and lyricist Anurup Aich have collaborated for the first time on a song titled “Keno Holi Na Amar,” sung by Khaled Munna.
Despite sharing a close personal relationship for 25 years, the two prominent figures in the country’s music industry had never previously worked together on a musical project.
The song, featuring lyrics by Anurup Aich, composition by Rajesh Ghosh and music arrangement by Rozen Rahman, is a melancholic melody that will feature on Khaled Munna’s upcoming solo album.
The album, marking Munna’s return after 12 years, will be released under the banner of Dhruba Music Station (DMS).
Talking about the collaboration, Anurup Aich said, “Rajesh and I have known each other for many years. However, we never had the opportunity to collaborate because no artiste or music company took the initiative. Thanks to Munna, we have finally created a beautiful song together.”
“We have always admired each other’s work but never found the right opportunity to collaborate. Munna made it possible, and I’m delighted”, Rajesh Ghosh shared his feelings in this way.
Khaled Munna expressed gratitude to Dhruba Music Station and Dhruba Guha for supporting his musical comeback.
“My solo album is coming after 12 years. It will feature 10 songs, although the title has yet to be finalised. Several renowned Bangladeshi lyricists and composers have contributed to the project. I’m grateful to everyone involved,” he said.
