IMPHAL, Oct 18: Indigenous People's Organisation Manipur (IPOM) observed National Democracy Day at JN Manipur Dance Academy, Imphal today.
The observance held under theme "For a common political future" was attended by retired Prof W Nabakumar, IPOM president Y Devdutta, Joint Tribe Council convenor Merajao Inka, DMU Political Science Associate Professor Dr Arambam Noni.
The observance was held commemorating the formation of the first ever democratically elected Government of independent Manipur on October 18, 1948.
