An Indiana gunman stormed into an IHOP restaurant accusing a cook of having sex with his wife – before chasing him in the parking lot armed with a knife and leading cops on a 110mph police chase, according to court documents.
Austen Wable, 28, charged into the pancake house chain’s eatery in Muncie on Thursday – fired his weapon before turning his attention to the cook, WXIN reported.
“You f–ked my bitch, bro,” the enraged gunman, who said to be “extremely drunk,” shouted as he pushed the kitchen worker.
Wable allegedly pointed his gun at the cook but it discharged, leaving him with a gunshot wound in the leg.
“I’m leaking,” he shouted, according to a witness, who later spoke with cops.

Wable’s beef with the cook continued into the parking lot where he allegedly chased the staffer with a knife.
It’s unclear whether he entered the restaurant armed with the blade.
A furious Wable left the restaurant in his wife’s Buick Enclave SUV – and this sparked a police chase where he reached speeds of around 110mph, according to the documents.
The driver was traveling so fast the car almost went airborne, according to court documents.
The chase came to an end when Wable crashed the SUV into a home – and he initially refused to cooperate when cops honed in on him.

He “began stumbling to his right” and seemed “disoriented” after getting out of the SUV, the documents said.
Wable’s gunshot wound was treated but he has since been charged with three Level 5 felonies – shooting a firearm into an inhabited building, intimidation with a deadly weapon, and unlawful carrying of a handgun.
Just a single Level 5 felony carries a maximum sentence of six years in prison.
Wable had previously been convicted in 2021 of carrying a gun without a license.
