Delta Air Lines has upgraded its business class experience for passengers. The changes include a new menu, new seats, and more Porsches.
The airline is hoping to make the hefty price tag worth the experience with its upcoming revamp to its highest-tier travel class.
Delta announced its new tableware for the cabins on Wednesday, alongside other new additions such as new Missoni mini pillows and fresh food. The carrier’s new beverage menu will be getting an upgrade as well, including Champagne served over sorbet and Blanton’s bourbon.
Delta stated in its announcement that the new decision was informed by two decades of customer insights and backed by the airline’s largest investment to date, building upon more than $1 billion invested in its fleet.
Refreshed leadership advice from CEO Stephanie Mehta
“You got to keep looking at the next cycle of what customers want, and you got to start planning for it now,” Ranjan Goswami, Delta’s chief marketing and product officer, told CNBC.
According to the press release, the new upgrades will appear in transoceanic Delta One routes departing Los Angeles International Airport this fall and will expand across the full global network in early 2027.
“Every investment we make is deliberate and designed to deliver the industry’s most premium end-to-end travel experience,” Goswami said in a release. “This elevated dining and hospitality experience reflects our relentless focus on raising the bar while giving customers greater control throughout their journey.”
