There is a positive dynamics in the health condition of the conscript Yeprem Gevorgyan, who was hospitalized Tuesday with a firearm wound, and his injury is not life threatening, Grigor Harutyunyan, the mayor of Ujan village of Armenia’s Aragatsotn Province, told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Yeprem spent his childhood in Ujan, but his family currently lives in Yerevan.
Yeprem, 20, is the only son in the family, he has one sister.
The Ministry of Defense (MoD) has not informed on which part of the body the soldier was injured, but according to information available in the media, he was injured in the shoulder.
The MoD had reported that, according to preliminary data, the soldier was injured as a result of violating the rules for using weapons.
