Ohio State has a bye week, and it couldn't come at a better time. The Buckeyes are dealing with several key injuries that will most likely require time to heal. The coaching staff will need the extra time to get some new faces ready for the next test on the schedule... a date with No. 16 USC in Los Angeles.
While we won't know the player's health status any time soon, we do know the time and channel for the game between the Buckeyes and Trojans. It was revealed earlier today that kickoff will be at 7:30 p.m. ET (4:30 pm PT). The game will be televised on NBC.
Both OSU and USC are both 6-1 on the season, with the Trojans' lone loss coming to Oregon in late September. Beyond the conference and national implications, this game will have some intrigue. Julian Sayin sustained an injury during the Indiana game that will keep him out for several weeks, according to Ryan Day, so true Freshman Luke Fahey will get his first start against the Men of Troy.

This will be the first trip to the Coliseum for Ohio State since 2008, when the Buckeyes got embarrassed by the Trojans 35-3. This will also be the first time OSU has faced USC as a member of the Big Ten. The last time the two blue-blood programs met was in 2017 at the Cotton Bowl, where the Buckeyes came away with a 27-21 victory. The Trojans lead the all-time series 13-10-1.
