Great for most people
The Android tablet space is going to heat up again with the introduction of Amazon's latest Alexa Tablets. We love when serious competition enters, so we can't wait to see how competitors react. With that said, we think for now, the Lenovo Idea Tab Plus is a solid choice if you're in the market for something new.
This tablet is meant to handle everything you can throw at it on a reasonable budget. The $210 price tag is more than fair, with the tablet featuring a MediaTak 6400 processor that's paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The 12.1-inch screen is great for media, and can handle daily tasks like web browsing and playing games.
The tablet runs Android 15, which brings a ton of great features. The Idea Tab Plus will get two major Android updates, bringing it to Android 17, along with four years of security updates, which will keep it secure until 2029. Naturally, the tablet will still work after that date. However, it won't get any new features or software updates after 2029.
For most people, this tablet is going to be an excellent choice right out of the box. Lenovo even sells a stylus and keyboard cover if you want to increase your productivity with the tablet. Again, grab it now while it's on sale from Best Buy. This is one of the best prices that we've seen for this model.
