SUNGAI BULOH: Coalfields Retail Park marks a major milestone within KLK Land Sdn Bhd’s broader 6,000-acre master plan.
Developed by KLK Land, the property development arm of Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd (KLK), the lifestyle retail hub serves the 1,000-acre township, which holds an estimated GDV of RM5.5 billion.
Coalfields Retail Park does not just elevate daily living, it also unlocks commercial and investment opportunities for the township. Following the positive response from communities across the Greater North Klang Valley recently, KLK Land remains confident that the target of 5 million annual visitors is within reach. As the township blossoms into a vibrant community, plans are also underway for a new series of commercial shoplots situated a stone’s throw away from the mall.
To support the growing township and ensure smooth accessibility, KLK Land has upgraded key infrastructure, including the progressive widening of access roads along Federal Route 54 toward Sungai Buloh and the enhancement of pedestrian connectivity throughout the township.
Coalfields Retail Park seamlessly complements Bandar Seri Coalfields established residential precincts – the 50-acre Central Park, the Residents Clubhouse, and key educational institutions.
The newly soft-opened Coalfields Retail Park serves as the lifestyle retail hub of Bandar Seri Coalfields in Sungai Buloh. It is scheduled to achieve 100% occupancy by Q1’27, bringing together a carefully curated mix of over 100 retail, dining, entertainment, wellness, and lifestyle brands.
“Our vision is to build townships that add value and this milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to growing alongside the community. We are delighted by the positive response to our soft opening and we truly hope that Coalfields Retail Park will continue to flourish as the heart of the community, while serving the Greater North Klang Valley” said KLK Land managing director Lee Wen Ling.
Spanning 21 acres with approximately one million sq ft of gross built-up area, the 2.5-storey hybrid indoor-outdoor destination is complemented by a scenic 7-acre lake park.
As Bandar Seri Coalfields continues to evolve, KLK Land remains optimistic about the ongoing growth of both the township and the mall, firmly committed to building a community that goes far beyond just homes. It is about creating spaces where people can connect, unwind, and share everyday life together.
