Studio Dragon has produced 10 titles that reached No. 1 on Netflix's global charts, a record industry watchers say confirms its standing as a leading Korean drama studio.
"Doctor X: The Age of the White Mafia," produced by Studio Dragon, ranked first in Netflix's weekly global Top 10 list for non-English shows for the week of Oct. 5-11, according to industry sources on the 16th. The series topped 9.9 million cumulative viewing hours in its debut week.
The company has delivered a Netflix global No. 1 title every year since 2022, a five-year streak. The run began with "The Glory" in 2022, followed by "Celebrity" in 2023, "Queen of Tears" and "Hierarchy" in 2024, "Tyrant's Chef," "Genie, Make a Wish" and "The Price of Confession" in 2025, and "Brave New World," "True Education" and "Doctor X: The Age of the White Mafia" in 2026 — 10 titles in all.
Analysts point to the studio's reach across genres as a key factor in its international following. "The Glory" set off a wave of revenge dramas and generated widely quoted lines, "Queen of Tears" drew viewers in with its romance, and "Tyrant's Chef" won attention for blending Korean cuisine with romance and fantasy. The lineup also spans "Celebrity," which looked behind the glamour of social media stars; "Hierarchy," about the ambitions of the wealthiest sliver of society; the fantasy romances "Genie, Make a Wish" and "Brave New World"; the school action series "True Education"; and the medical drama "Doctor X: The Age of the White Mafia."

The momentum is expected to carry through the end of the year. A Studio Dragon official said the company plans to release a string of high-quality productions before year-end, including "Slowly and Intensely," a new work by writer Noh Hee-kyung, and "Gift," starring actor Kim Woo-bin.
