From $10T to $60T: How India is Taking Over the Global Supply Chain | Piyush Goyal
১২/১০/২০২৬

India is opening its doors wider to the world! At The Dilli Dialogue: Policies for a Future-Ready India in New Delhi, Union Minister Piyush Goyal outlined how free trade agreements (FTAs) are expanding India's global economic opportunities. Nine FTAs covering 38 developed nations have opened access to markets representing a combined $60 trillion in GDP, compared with just $10 trillion covered by India's earlier trade agreements, according to the speaker. The strategy focuses on strengthening supply chains, boosting economic security and reducing dependence on a handful of geographies. India and its trade partners can also complement each other across sectors, from electronics and data centre equipment to textiles, footwear and food processing. With eight more trade negotiations underway, India is targeting an even bigger global opportunity.
