Welcome to my weekly Cleveland Browns rooting guide looking at the best outcomes for the Cleveland Browns. With many of the top quarterbacks in the league not being selected in the first three picks, the Browns winning games isn't a bad thing, it shows the roster is loaded and able to continue improving with another offseason.
What we will cover weekly in this article:

Current AFC Playoff Games
If the season ended now, the current AFC playoff games would be:
Bye: Chiefs
Raiders @ Ravens
Patriots @ Jaguars
Broncos @ Bills
AFC North Odds
Making the playoffs would be great, winning the division would be better, here are the odds:

AFC Playoff Odds
Who do the sportbooks think is the Browns main competitor for the playoffs?

Rooting Guide For Key Games
I have broken these into three groups moving forward, the ones that are more likely than not to go how the Browns want, those that are possible and then the holding out for a miracle group.
Likely
N/A
Possible
Bengals @ Ravens (-1.5) - While you could argue a tie would be perfect, that is hard to root for. Hopefully the Bengals can win this game as it feels like the Ravens are much more of a threat, and the odds relfect this.
Steelers (-3.5) vs Saints - You are always more likely to get random results when games are played overseas, hopefully the Saints can beat the Steelers in Paris and keep the division in a good place for the Browns.
Broncos (-4.5) @ Cardinals - Could Arizona take another scalp, it is a lot to overturn a 4.5 point swing but the Cardinals and Brissett have shown they can win big games.
Hoping For A Miracle
Giants @ Texans (-10.5) - The Texans are a competitor for the wildcard spots, so can the Giants cause a giant upset in this game, unlikely but you never know.
Current Draft Order
Here is the draft order within the league as things stand if the season ended today per Tankathon:

Odds For The First Overall Pick
Here are the odds for the the ten most likely teams to finish with the worst record. Each week I will track this so we can see teams entering and dropping out of the top ten too. Green shows most likely to get the first pick. Grey is outside the top ten that week. Red is the Browns odds if they are outside the top ten.

Weekly Mock Draft
What I want to do each week is a day 1/2 mock draft based working off the current draft order so it changes more week to week. The players selected runs off the consensus big board on Mock Draft Database, no trades, no players sliding. As I always say with drafts, don't worry too much about them until free agency has happened but let's have some fun! Age is always a factor for me, so check out the latest 2027 Age Guardrails Draft Board, exclusively for OBR VIPs.
Round 1 (Rams) - #11 Dante Moore, QB (Oregon)
At this stage we don't know enough about the injury and what happens next, so I'm not going to speculate in this but if he makes a full return and bounces back then you are getting a really good player here. While some other passers stand out more, they are long gone by the time the Browns get to use the Rams pick in this scenario. Compared to the other top teams, the Chargers remain an intriguing position to trade up for but they might want a deal which gives them a pick to select Smith.
Round 1 (Browns) - #26 KJ Duff, WR (Rutgers)
I will be honest, I'm not entirely wowed with this range of the draft. If I haven't used it to trade up then I could be looking at trade down scenarios here. I am always looking for more pass catchers, the tight end in this range can't block, the defensive lineman are better against the run than the pass, so I go with a very impressive wide receiver and load up.
Round 2 (Browns) - #58 Damon Wilson, ED (Miami)
I really wish Clev Lubin the edge out of Louisville was younger. There are several choices here but I go with Wilson who is a pass rushing monster. The run stuffing needs work, but I want to add a wrecking machine to cause defenses more issues.
Round 3 (Browns) - #90 Anthony Boswell, C (Houston)
The Cleveland Browns have four starters on the offensive line next season, the one question based on contract is Jenkins. I would select Boswell here and have a year to develop him. With Jenkins' versatility, they can move him along the line if there is an injury.
